Shipwreck Beach, Morrisville, Long Island, Bahamas

Near South > Great South Beaches
DIRECTIONS:  Heading south: The paved road to this beach is 1.2 miles south of Dunmore.  Look for a dirt road marked Leo Lane.  You'll soon see a paved road marked by two white sign posts minus a sign.  Turn here.  The road is about 100 yards north of a group of five houses.  If you pass them just turn around.  Or if you prefer, after you see the sign for Morrisville, take the first left paved road.  The road is paved as it was going to be a development.  Which is why the sign posts are there.  Heading north:  If you’ve decided to visit on your way back from the more southern beaches, it’s 1.2 miles from the north end of the pond just south of Dunmore that you passed going south.  Again, look for a group of five houses and in a 100 yards a paved road going to the right.

Directly in front of the beach,
